Case Study

Supreme Engineering Services

Project Size:

20.7kW Rooftop Solar

Supreme Engineering Services has long been a leader in precision, performance, and innovation throughout Western Sydney. In line with that reputation and with an eye toward the future, they made a bold decision: switch to solar energy. Partnering with AYKA Solar—a trusted, 4.9-star-rated expert in commercial solar installations—Supreme Engineering Services introduced a clever new upgrade to their Blacktown facility. Their workshops and offices now run on clean, renewable energy—quietly and reliably powering every operation.

But this rooftop setup is much more than just a smart power source. This rooftop solar system is so much more than just an energy source—it’s a testament to Supreme Engineering’s core values. By choosing clean, renewable solar power at their Blacktown facility, they’re making a heartfelt pledge to our planet and taking a stand against the uncertainty of rising energy costs.

OBJECTIVES

Supreme Engineering Services aimed to mitigate rising energy bills while supporting their broader sustainability targets. As a business with consistent daytime energy demand, particularly from fabrication equipment and workshop lighting, the company saw solar as a natural fit to reduce dependence on the grid.

Their key priorities included lowering long-term operational costs, stabilising energy supply for their machinery, and demonstrating environmental responsibility in a competitive industrial sector. By integrating solar into their business, they intended to lead by example and improve energy efficiency across operations.

SOLUTION

AYKA Solar engineered and installed a 20.7kW rooftop solar system explicitly tailored to the layout and power profile of Supreme Engineering’s site. With limited rooftop area and high energy load in specific zones, the system was carefully designed to deliver maximum output during working hours.

The solution utilised high-performance panels and an innovative inverter system to ensure real-time load management and minimal grid reliance. Advanced monitoring capabilities were added to give the team visibility over performance and savings, while robust mounting systems ensured long-term durability in Western Sydney’s climate.

“This system was more than just a cost-saving project—it’s a strategic shift in how we operate. The support and precision from the AYKA Solar team made all the difference.”

CHALLENGES

Implementing solar energy in a manufacturing-focused facility presented specific challenges. The first was designing around limited and uneven roof space, which required a custom layout to avoid shading and structural load issues. Second, the system had to integrate seamlessly with sensitive, high-powered machinery without affecting daily operations or safety protocols.

AYKA Solar worked closely with the engineering team to schedule installation during off-peak hours, coordinate with structural engineers, and handle all grid approvals swiftly. Every element of the installation was geared toward efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability.

THE FUTURE

Encouraged by the success of their solar system, Supreme Engineering Services is now:

🔋 Evaluating battery storage for critical machinery backup
📈 Tracking real-time savings and ROI through a performance dashboard
♻️ Promoting sustainability in tenders and client communication

“We’ve cut our energy costs, improved our environmental performance, and gained energy independence—all in one move. It’s a win-win for our team and our clients.”
