According to MacRumors, Google, a California-based company, is releasing three innovative AI-powered capabilities for its Chrome browser that use the most recent iterations of Google AI and Gemini models.
First, Google Lens will be accessible through desktop browsers such as Chrome. With this connection, users can drag and drop to search for visual material straight from their screen. Any portion of a webpage, including text and graphics, can be selected to obtain visually comparable results. Further search parameters include brand, colour, and more. For additional information, you can also pose follow-up queries.
The Tab Compare function, which will enable users to view AI-generated product summaries from several tabs in one location, is scheduled to launch after that. This will make it easier to compare product ratings, costs, and other information when buying.
Moreover, Chrome is going to have a herbal language search characteristic in your browsing information. Asking conversational queries, such as “What changed in that ice cream shop I checked out last week?” will assist you in discovering what you are looking for faster than searching through previous websites. Data from the incognito mode is not blanketed in this characteristic, and it can be grown to become on or off in Chrome settings.
In the next few days, the new Chrome update with Google Lens will be accessible, and over the next several weeks, Tab Compare and the browser history search will be made available in the United States.
In the meantime, on August 13, Google is getting ready to unveil its flagship Pixel 9 smartphone series. According to leaks, the Tensor G4 chipset—which is anticipated to increase efficiency but does not deliver significant power upgrades—will be included in the upcoming smartphones.
